Seth Bailin
Conspiracies and Controversies Educator
About Me
Hi, I’m Seth Bailin—a saxophonist, farmer, author, and community builder with a deep love for fruit, sound, soil, and uncovering what lies beneath the surface.
I’ve busked on Bourbon Street, led marching bands of kids through New Orleans, and recorded albums with some of the city’s most iconic brass bands. I’ve also planted over 100 fruit trees in Miami, documented farm systems, and written a full-color book about the wild diversity of tropical fruit.
I’ve taught music to kids as young as 7 and adults well into their 70s. I’ve built youth programs, designed hot sauce labels, produced podcasts, and organized outdoor concerts with 30+ musicians at a time. I believe in systems that nourish—whether that’s a garden bed, a brass band, or a classroom full of free thinkers.
As a lifelong student of hidden history and suppressed knowledge, I’m passionate about helping others question official narratives, explore the roots of deception, and think critically in a culture of conformity. Whether I’m leading a jam session, digging a garden trench, or facilitating a deep-dive discussion on psyops and propaganda, I’m guided by curiosity, rhythm, and the belief that education should be both liberating and delicious.

Teaching Approach or Philosophy
I believe education should be a journey of curiosity, critical thinking, and hands-on discovery. My approach blends creativity with rigor—encouraging students to question dominant narratives, explore multiple perspectives, and develop their own informed viewpoints.
By integrating music, food systems, and social inquiry, I create interdisciplinary lessons that connect the dots between history, science, culture, and current events. I emphasize respectful dialogue, evidence-based reasoning, and active participation, fostering a learning environment where students feel safe to ask difficult questions and challenge assumptions.
Whether leading a music ensemble, facilitating a discussion on conspiracies, or guiding a garden project, I aim to nurture confident, independent thinkers who are prepared to engage thoughtfully with the world around them.

Seth has a talent for making complex topics understandable without talking down to students. My 12-year-old enjoys the mix of lectures, discussions, and debate. It’s clear Seth cares about each student.
